Tea Yoshisaur Munchakoopas (dubbed Yoshi by his friends) is a fictional character in the Super Mario series who made his debut in Super Mario Bros. 4 (a.k.a. Super Mario World). He is currently voiced by Kazumi Totaka. He was previously voiced by Andrew Sabiston.
Like Mario and Luigi (in canon), and Princesses Peach and Daisy (fanon), Yoshi also has an arch-rival, whom goes by the name Boshi. He also has a girlfriend in former enemy Birdo.
Yoshi made his debut in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World (later to be simplified as Super Mario World outside Japan). Munchakoopa is a Green Yoshi.

Tea Yoshisaur Munchakoopas isn't the only Yoshi in existance, though. He is one of many Yoshi who hatched from a Yoshi Egg, and therefore born, on Yoshi's Island.
